Indian Army Agniveer New Recruitment 2025 Eligibility

Agniveer GD Men & Women

• Education:
• The candidate must have passed the 10th class (Matriculation) from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and at least 33% marks in each subject.
• The Board must be recognized by the Government of India.


• Physical Standards:
• Height
• Minimum height required: 160 cm for men and 152 cm for women.
• Weight
• Weight should be proportionate to the height and age as per the Army standards.
• Chest:
• Minimum 77 cm (unexpanded) with an expansion of 5 cm for men.
• Women need to meet specific chest and other physical standards that are proportionate to their physique.
• Physical Fitness Test:
• The Physical Fitness Test will generally consist of a 1.6 km run, pull-ups, and balancing exercises. The exact requirements may vary based on the recruitment notification.

Agniveer Technical/Assistant Men & Women

1. Education Qulification: Men & Women
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English from a recognized board.
• The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with at least 40% marks in each subject.
Alternatively:
• Candidates who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, IT, etc.) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject are also eligible.
2. Special Note for Women Candidates:
• Women candidates are eligible for the Agniveer Technical role under the same eligibility criteria as men. However, the number of vacancies and the operational requirements may vary depending on the recruitment cycle. The physical fitness requirements for women candidates are the same as for men, with variations based on their gender.
